A 52-year-old man was seriously injured after being stabbed several times at a bar in Barra do Garças , 516 km from Cuiabá. The crime happened on Friday (23). In the images of security cameras that recorded the crime, it is possible to see the moment when the suspect, 51 years old, approaches, takes a knife from his pocket and hits the victim several times. According to the Civil Police, the aggressor and the victim knew each other and were friends. So far it is not known what motivated the crime. The victim suffered four perforations in the body and received medical attention at the Emergency Care Unit (UPA), according to police information. The suspect's girlfriend, who witnessed the case, told police that the perpetrator had been drinking alcohol since the previous night. According to her, he took the knife at her residence, without her realizing it. Other witnesses told the police that the criminal only stopped the attacks after the knife had broken. The suspect is on the run and the crime is being investigated by the Civil Police.
