The double homicide took place around 6 pm last Saturday, the 10th, and the victims were identified as Jania Carvalho Simplício, 50, and her cousin Vanessa Araújo Carvalho, 40, who was in her seventh month of pregnancy. The two women were rushed in private cars to the Joventina Dias Emergency Service, which is also located in the Compensa neighborhood, but they did not survive their injuries.
