Four assailants shot and killed a young man in broad daylight in Gaya, Bihar, in what has been described as a “filmy-style” murder. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.

The victim was identified as 19-year-old Subhash Kumar, son of Upendra Paswan of Bairagi Mohalla. Witnesses reported that the attackers fired multiple rounds, striking Subhash four times.

CCTV footage shows the victim surrounded by four youths. One of them pulls out a pistol and fires. Despite being hit, Subhash appeared to try to speak before two more gunmen shot him again in the chest. After the shooting, the assailants fled the scene, leaving bystanders in shock.

According to the victim’s father, the killing appears to have been a planned attack. He claimed that his son was targeted while walking outside and that the motive may be linked to a long-standing family dispute that has persisted for about five years.

Police responded to the scene, sent the body to Magadh Medical College Hospital for post-mortem examination, and began reviewing CCTV footage. The victim’s father has named several suspects, and authorities have launched an investigation into the murder, which occurred within the Kotwali police station area.
