A violent family altercation broke out in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh, after a woman was seen attacking her elderly mother-in-law with slippers on a public road.

According to local reports, a disabled man intervened upon witnessing the assault and retaliated by beating his sister-in-law with a plastic pipe. The incident drew attention from bystanders, several of whom recorded the confrontation on their phones.

Police are reviewing the footage to determine the cause of the dispute and whether charges will be filed against those involved. The elderly woman reportedly sustained minor injuries.
