Police share details after officer shoots, kills teen in Aurora

Aurora Police say a teen who claimed he was armed and intended to shoot up a gas station was fatally shot by an officer.

Police responded just before 7 p.m. to reports that the teen had called 911 from inside the gas station, threatening violence.

When officers arrived, they say the teen resisted commands. Although he alleged he was armed, no weapon was found.

Body camera and surveillance footage have since been released.

Police are still investigating the incident and have not released all details.
