On the afternoon of Sunday, September 21, a shooting attack was reported against a man near the Phase II tourist boardwalk in the municipality of San José del Fragua, southern Caquetá.

A video shared on social media shows residents attempting to assist the victim, who was allegedly struck by multiple shots. Initial reports indicated the man had been shot at least seven times. However, later information revealed that the weapon used was a pellet gun.

When contacted, the local police station declined to provide official statements.

According to residents, the incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. and caused panic among people who were socializing in nearby establishments. Witnesses stated that the alleged attacker did not resist when approached by authorities and was reportedly taken to the police station.
