A serious traffic accident occurred on Wednesday afternoon in the rural settlement of Novo Bacabal, in Açailândia, Maranhão. A young man riding a motorcycle was traveling along the main road when he collided violently with a car.

According to eyewitnesses, the impact was so severe that the motorcyclist was thrown over the vehicle. He was promptly attended to by bystanders and granted urgent medical care.

The young man was taken to a nearby hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment in stable condition.
