Marlisson Antônio da Silva, 29, was shot and killed on the morning of Monday, August 4, in the center of Tracunhaém, located in the Mata Norte region of Pernambuco, Brazil.

The murder occurred just moments before he was scheduled to testify at the 57th Police Station in the town.

According to the Civil Police, Marlisson had been arrested the previous week and was due to testify as a suspect in connection with a homicide that took place in April of this year.

The execution happened on 7th Street, in front of a post office.
