Roorkee – A tragic accident occurred on Sunday near Jadugar Road in the Kotwali area when Kirti, a young woman from Khanjarpur, was fatally crushed by a car while walking with an umbrella in the rain. The entire incident was caught on a nearby CCTV camera, and the video has since gone viral on social media.

Kirti worked at a private hospital near Jadugar Road. On the day of the accident, she was on her way to work when the rain prompted her to carry an umbrella. As she crossed near Jadugar Road, a car approaching from the front struck her, causing her to become trapped underneath.

Local residents quickly rushed to the scene and helped the driver lift Kirti from under the vehicle. The driver then immediately took her to the hospital. Unfortunately, doctors declared Kirti dead upon arrival.

Police have launched an investigation into the case, and further details are awaited.
