An incident in the Haina community of San Cristóbal has raised concerns after an armed individual entered the GBC pharmacy, located near the Dominican Petroleum Refinery (Refidomsa), and stole a security guard’s regulation instrument.

The event occurred during business hours, with employees and customers present, heightening tension in the area. According to reports, the suspect acted quickly and decisively when confronting the security guard.

Security cameras inside the pharmacy captured the entire incident. The footage has been handed over to authorities and is under analysis to help identify the suspect and locate him.
