Two people were shot and killed outside a Las Vegas Strip resort late Sunday night.
Las Vegas police responded to the 3600 block of south Las Vegas Boulevard after officers say they heard gunshots coming from the west side of the street. The shooting happened just outside the Bellagio around 10:40 p.m.
In a news release, Metro said the officers ran toward the area and located two people with gunshot wounds. Medical first responders pronounced the victims dead at the scene.
“It is believed that the suspect and the victims knew each other and had previously engaged in conflict over social media prior to the shooting,” the release said.
