A 17-year-old teenager was reportedly trying to avoid pedestrians on a downhill slope when the accident happened.
A 17-year-old cyclist died after being hit by a bus in Alvorada , in the Metropolitan Region of Porto Alegre, on the morning of this Wednesday (21). His identity was not released by the Military Brigade (BM).
According to the BM, the cyclist was traveling along Avenida Getúlio Vargas, in the central region of the city, around 7:30 am, when he tried to avoid pedestrians on a downhill slope, lost his balance and fell in front of the bus.
The case must be investigated by the Civil Police.
