A violent street fight between Venezuelan nationals and local residents in Iquique, Chile, resulted in the death of one Venezuelan man, injuries to two others, and the arrest of three Chilean individuals.
According to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, the incident began when two Venezuelan men and a woman exited a vehicle and confronted a man on the street, triggering a large-scale brawl involving multiple participants.
Prosecutor Héctor López stated that video evidence identified three Chilean nationals who actively participated in the attack, which led to the fatal stabbing of one Venezuelan man.
The Prosecutor’s Office has commissioned the OS9 and Labocar divisions of the Carabineros (National Police) to conduct a thorough investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
