A man was shot dead in the early hours of this Saturday (10), in a pagode that was taking place in a bar, in Comendador Soares, Nova Iguaçu, in Baixada Fluminense.
According to initial information, the victim, identified by the Civil Police as Jorge Mauro Ruas de Paiva, 51 years old, was involved in a fight inside Gaguinho's bar.
According to witnesses, when he went out onto Rua Manoel Henrique, he was shot several times by the attacker. Jorge died instantly and the shooter fled.
The Military Police did not respond whether they were called to the crime.
In a statement, the Civil Police said that the Baixada Fluminense Homicide Division (DHBF) was called to investigate the perpetrator and motivation for the crime .
Jorge Mauro's body was sent to the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) in Nova Iguaçu.
