The place of the accident was the 101st kilometer of the Chelyabinsk - Troitsk highway. At 10.10 today, an Iveco heavy truck hit a Yamaha motorcycle on it.
According to preliminary data of the traffic police, the 30-year-old driver of the dump truck did not miss the oncoming bike when turning left at an unregulated intersection.
"As a result of the accident, the driver of the motorcycle, a man born in 1983, died at the scene from his injuries," the press service of the traffic police in the Chelyabinsk region told ChelyabinskSegody.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate and the investigative and operational group are on the spot, all the circumstances of the tragedy are being established.
