A woman drowned in the Ganga River while recording a social media reel in Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. The tragic incident, which occurred at Manikarnika Ghat, was captured on camera.
The video shows the woman venturing deeper into the river to film when she suddenly slipped. Swept away by the strong current, she disappeared from view.
Heartbreakingly, her child can be heard in the video calling out “mummy” as she went under. As of now, police have not recovered her body.
