A man was fatally stabbed while trying to intervene in a fight in the east of Manaus (AM).
The incident occurred in the early hours of last Sunday (13), when Valmir Paes de Souza Júnior, known as Júnior, 46 years old, tried to calm down an argument involving a friend.
During the confusion, Júnior was stabbed and did not survive his injuries. The suspect fled the scene and is being sought by authorities.
Police are investigating the case as the community mourns the loss of a beloved member.
