On the afternoon of Monday, March 10, a violent brawl involving rocks and machetes broke out on Avenida ‘A’ in Jaén , involving women, men, and even a minor. The confrontation ended with one woman unconscious. A group of women tried to help her and are believed to have called authorities for help, requesting that she be taken to a nearby health center.
This violent scene was recorded by local residents, who, terrified, called for the presence of the Peruvian National Police (PNP).
The clip shows the exact moment two women start fighting. They pull each other’s hair, and immediately, a boy throws a flower pot at one of them. Afterward, the fight continues, and the boy continues to get involved. In response to this, a group of people approach and try to separate them. However, others also intervene and join the conflict.
Afterward, a man is seen arriving with a machete and threatening to kill them. The man is also seen trying to injure the people and, finally, savagely attacking a woman and fleeing the scene on a motorcycle taxi, along with what appear to be her relatives.
