On the morning of January 23, 2025, GCSO deputies were alerted to an armed robbery that took place in neighboring Pickens County.
Surveillance footage from the robbery, provided by the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office, is featured in the following video.
Following the incident, the suspected thief was tracked to Greenville County, where an officer-involved shooting took place.
