According to initial reports, a truck with license plate 21C - 04282, driven by Mr. To Cao Cuong (born in 1976, residing in Hung Hoa, Cong Hoa, Quang Yen), was traveling from National Highway 18 toward the center of Quang Yen town. Upon reaching the described area, the truck collided head-on with a motorcycle, license plate number 34N3 - 2811, driven by Mr. Vu Ngoc K (born in 1989, residing on Ngang Street, Cong Hoa, Quang Yen), who was traveling in the opposite direction.
As a result, Mr. Vu Ngoc K tragically died at the scene, and both vehicles were severely damaged. The preliminary investigation suggests that Mr. K deviated into the wrong lane.
Lieutenant Colonel Vu Dinh Nguyen, Captain of Team 1, Traffic Police Department (CSGT) of Quang Ninh Provincial Police, urged road users to strictly follow traffic laws, especially road signs and markings, and to avoid driving in the wrong lane. He also emphasized the importance of refraining from alcohol consumption to ensure the safety of oneself and others on the road.
