Police are investigating the murder of 40-year-old Dwight Badall in Sangre Grande.
Badall was shot at a minimart located along Foster Road at about 8:50pm yesterday.
Witness told police Badall was liming with a relative when a lone gunman walked up and opened fire without warning.
The suspect was seen entering a silver Nissan Almera that was parked nearby, which then drove off.
In the aftermath, Badall was found on the ground in front of the minimart bleeding from multiple injuries.
The police and emergency health services were notified and a team of officers led by W-Cpl Sammy responded.
Investigators found six spent shells on the scene of the shooting.
Police have no motive for the killing.
