LOS CABOS, Baja California Sur — A road accident in Cabo San Lucas was captured on video Wednesday afternoon when a truck driver accidentally ran over a motorcyclist. The incident occurred around 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of Boulevard Constituyentes and Lázaro Cárdenas, one of the city’s main roads.
This marks another similar accident in the area, as a previous incident involved an Uber driver striking a motorcyclist at a traffic light in Los Cabos. However, this case differs, as the truck driver was already at the pedestrian crossing when the traffic light remained red.
The video shows the motorcyclist overtaking the truck and positioning himself in its blind spot just seconds before the collision. Although the motorcyclist’s failure to adhere to traffic laws contributed to the incident, the truck driver appeared to accelerate despite the red light.
