SÃO LUÍS - A video shows the moment a police officer shoots a suspect in a robbery at a bakery located in the Cohab Anil IV neighborhood, in the capital. The criminal action was foiled when two military police officers who were patrolling the area entered the establishment on Wednesday night (8).
The suspect was shot in the leg. After subduing the man, the police seized the firearm he was using to attempt the robbery. In part of the video, he can be seen with the gun in his hand before the police arrived.
The suspect in the attempted robbery at the bakery was identified as Tcheysson Egbertse Costa Correia, 33. He was taken to the Clementino Moura Municipal Hospital (Socorrão II) and then taken to the police station.
