Guayaquil closes 2024 with a tragic traffic accident that occurred on Isidro Ayora Avenue, at Samanes 4, in the north of the city, on the morning of December 31, before the start of the New Year's holiday.
A video spread on social networks shows the moment when the private vehicle is hit by the back of the truck.
The blocks fell on the light vehicle, in which two people were traveling. One of them was transferred to a nursing home by a Fire Department ambulance.
In addition, the Fire Department reported that there is a lifeless person trapped in the vehicle, which was almost destroyed by the impact.
After recovering the body, the relief agencies removed the blocks from the vehicle and worked on cleaning the roadway, to enable the avenue again.
