The victim, who has not yet been identified, was unable to get out of the burning car.
A person was burned to death after crashing his car into an electricity pole in Barro Vermelho, in São Gonçalo, in the early hours of this Sunday (24). After the crash, the vehicle caught fire and the victim was unable to get out of the car.
The Fire Department was called at around 3 am and officers from the São Gonçalo barracks responded to the incident. The victim has not yet been identified, but was already dead when firefighters arrived at the scene. The road had to be closed to remove the vehicle.
The body was taken to the IML in São Gonçalo.
