A Hindu priest tries to 'fly' and dies in front of his followers A 49-year-old Hindu priest has died after falling from a mountain in India while trying to perform an act of "flying" in front of a group of followers.
The priest had gathered numerous believers, including women and children, to the top of the mountain to demonstrate his supposed ability to fly. The event was recorded and broadcast on social networks, showing the rituals carried out at the location.
In the video, the priest is seen shaking a bell, accompanied by drums and other ritual elements. After bracing himself and putting additional weight on his shoulders, he briefly stepped onto a rock and, on the second attempt, jumped off, resulting in his death.
