A car came out from a side road and crashed into a group of people attending a funeral, killing one person and injuring three others. On October 31, Phuc Tho District Police (Hanoi) are investigating a case where a car crashed into a funeral procession, causing four casualties.
The accident occurred at around 8:50 a.m. the same day, on the inter-commune road from Hat Mon to Van Nam, in village 6, Hat Mon commune, Phuc Tho district.
At that time, a white car with license plate 30L - 220.xx driven by Mr. NVT (born in 1960, in village 6, Hat Mon commune) was driving from a branch road to the main road when it suddenly crashed into a group of people attending a funeral.
The accident caused Mr. NLT (born in 1959, residing in Hat Mon, Phuc Tho) to die. Three other people were injured: Mr. NNB (born in 1972), Mr. NLS (born in 1986) and Ms. NNH.
Immediately upon receiving the news, the police force of Phuc Tho district and relevant agencies were present at the scene with local people to take the victim to the emergency room and at the same time investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
