A man received a strong electric shock after climbing an electricity tower in the municipality of Naucalpan.
The events were recorded by witnesses in the Benito Juárez neighborhood on Sunday afternoon.
There, the man of around 50 years of age, who was clearly under the influence of some substance, touched a cable and was killed by the discharge.
Civil Protection paramedics attended the scene and treated the man, who was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
The identity of the person was not released.
