News of the death of a 12-year-old boy after being crushed under a tractor has come to light.
His maternal uncle Deshraj came to meet him at his home at around 10 am on Saturday.
He parked the tractor outside the house and left the keys in it. When Deshraj came to the child's house, the child was playing outside the house. The child started the tractor while playing.
The tractor started as the gear was engaged and later the child could not control it. In a short while, the child fell down while trying to get off the tractor and died after being crushed by the rear tire of the tractor.
The deceased, about 12-year-old Raham son of Rajendra Singh, was a resident of Ward 22 of Padampur in Sri Ganganagar district.
This accident happened at 11.33 am on Saturday. The entire accident was captured in CCTV, the video of which came out on Sunday. According to the information received from Padampur Police, the police reached the spot after the accident, but the child's father and family members refused to take action. On this the police team returned.
