CHETUMAL – After having an argument with a man, a Mayan Train worker was hit in the head with a piece of wood.
According to witnesses, the fight began when the aggressor accused the worker of having hit his wife, so when things got heated, one of them took the wood and left the other unconscious.
The man was treated by paramedics, who took him to a hospital for medical evaluation.
To date, the arrest of the aggressor has not been reported, as it is presumed that he escaped to avoid being detained by members of the National Guard.
