A video shows a military police officer shooting an Ox in the middle of a street in Mauá, a city in the metropolitan region of São Paulo.
The incident occurred on Wednesday morning (21). The Ox died after being shot about six times. The owner of the animal was not located.The São Paulo Public Security Department (SSP) reported that a 59-year-old man was attacked by a Ox on Sebastião Antônio da Silva Street, located in Jardim Zaíra, in Mauá. He was taken to the emergency room, received treatment and was released.
According to the SSP, military police officers were called to respond to the incident and, upon arriving at the scene, found that the animal was aggressive and “posed a risk”, even attacking the officers.
The incident was registered at the 4th Police District of Mauá as failure to exercise caution in the custody or transportation of animals and the location/seizure and delivery of objects.
