A man was murdered inside his own restaurant by an unknown person who pretended to be a customer, in the Bella Vista neighborhood of Santa Cruz de Yojoa, Cortés department, northern Honduras.
The Fire Department report details that an individual entered the popular Tacorriendo Grill restaurant pretending to be a customer. Once inside, he pulled out a firearm and shot the owner of the establishment, identified as Douglas Joel Guillen Vallecillo.
According to information posted on the Facebook account of the Fire Department, the body of the 45-year-old businessman had three bullet holes, which ended his life immediately. To date, the identity of the false client who perpetrated the murder remains unknown.
Douglas Joel Guillen Vallecillo leaves behind his wife as a widow and a child as an orphan. On social media, the community has deeply regretted his death, remembering him as a "kind and friendly" man who always provided excellent service to his clients.
