According to the media, the origin of the fight was in a bar close to the area, when during an argument, the victim of the stabbing hit the assailant on the head with a glass.
Already outside the establishment, the wounded man stabbed the victim with a knife, in the legs and abdomen , in front of many witnesses who even recorded the attack. Among the witnesses was a young child crying .
According to ‘La Vanguardia’, the victim is a 33-year-old man who has a history of various crimes, while the aggressor is said to be a man who has recently been released from prison after being convicted of another stabbing , 5 years ago.
Both individuals were injured, but the one who was stabbed took the worst part and remains hospitalized in a very serious condition at Hospital Sant Pau in Barcelona.
