A police boat has done a backflip after driving into a cable.
Shocking footage shows the white vessel speeding across the water.
Seconds later, the top of the boat appears to ram into a steel wire cable.
It then lifts up from the water and flips backwards.
Thankfully, the captain fell overboard and escaped without injury.
The boat was badly damaged, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Shortly after the accident, the vessel was pulled out of the water and retrieved ashore with a tractor.
Firefighters and divers were also dispatched to the scene.
The horror incident took place in the river near Timár, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, eastern Hungary, on Saturday 3 August around 8am.
The police are investigating the circumstances of the accident with the involvement of experts.
