Hakan Filiz (24) was injured in an explosion that occurred while he was mixing paint in a boiler with a mixer in the metal factory where he worked in KONYA. Filiz, who had burns on his body, was taken to treatment and the explosion was recorded by a security camera.
The incident occurred at around 16:00 in a metal manufacturing factory on 10643rd Street in Fevzi Çakmak Neighborhood of Karatay district. Hakan Filiz was mixing the paint in the cauldron he climbed into with a mixer when an explosion occurred. Filiz fell and his clothes caught fire after the explosion and his colleagues intervened. Hakan Filiz, who had burns on various parts of his body, was taken to Konya City Hospital by ambulance. Filiz, who is receiving treatment, is reported to be in good health.
Meanwhile, the explosion was captured on the workplace's security camera. The footage shows Hakan Filiz climbing onto the cauldron and mixing the paint with a mixer when the explosion occurred, him being thrown into the air and falling, him trying to extinguish his own burning clothes, and then his colleagues rushing to help.
An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
