A man was attacked by an elephant at a private elephant safari center in Kallar.
Balakrishnan (62), a native of Nileswaram in Kasaragod, was badly injured. The incident happened while the elephant was being tied back after the safari. The elephant kicked Balakrishnan several times and finally tied him to the ground. 
The incident took place at Kerala Farm elephant safari center. He was shifted to Adimali Taluk Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. He will be released to the family after post-mortem.
