Officer dies after shooting himself in the head allegedly for the love of a woman
A lieutenant of the National Police decided to end his life by shooting himself in the head, supposedly for the love of a woman.
The unfortunate event occurred on Wednesday night, near a grocery store called La Gallera, located at the entrance to the municipality.
The deceased was identified as Delis Ogando, alias "Chavo or Chavito", who was assigned to the School Police department.
Ogando's death occurred instantly, without the real reasons that led the young officer to make the fatal decision being known so far.
Hundreds of curious people arrived at the scene and the authorities, who together with the medical examiner Dr. Made and police officers, proceeded to lift the body and transfer it to the Dr. Federico Armando Aybar hospital in that municipality.
