The crime occurred on Thursday night (16) in the district of Mottas. Civil Police investigate the case.
A trader was shot dead inside the grocery store where he worked in the Mottas district, in Teresópolis, in the Serrana region of Rio. The crime occurred at around 8pm this Thursday (16) and was recorded by the establishment's cameras.
In the images it was possible to count at least 19 shots fired at Luis Augusto dos Santos Oliveira, 29 years old, known as Luizinho.
He was talking to a man at the establishment's cash register when he was surprised by a man, who got off the back of a motorcycle, entered the establishment and took out his gun, shooting at the victim.
Even after Luizinho fell to the ground, the shooter continued shooting until the magazine was empty. He then returned to the motorcycle and fled the scene with the motorcycle driver.
Last week, a 25-year-old young man was the victim of attempted murder also in Mottas, after being shot five times. About two months ago, another homicide was also recorded in the district, when a young man was shot in the central square.
The Civil Police informed, in a statement, that it was called and is investigating the death of Luis Augusto dos Santos Oliveira and that it is carrying out searches to determine the authorship and motivation of the crime.
