A security guard was murdered in a hitman attack at a pool hall in the Atlantic.
The 20-year-old young man, identified as Anthony Junior Rivera Sandoval, lost his life in a new violent event that occurred in the municipality of Soledad, specifically in the Los Rosales neighborhood.
Rivera Sandoval, who worked as a security guard at the establishment known as Portal Rumbero, was the victim of an armed attack on the night of Saturday, May 4, according to the police.
The attack took place at the address Calle 63 Carrera 14C – 76, the workplace of the victim, who lived in the El Porvenir neighborhood of Soledad. Witnesses to the incident reported that several unidentified individuals arrived at the scene and without saying a word opened fire on Rivera Sandoval, causing him fatal injuries.
During the course of the attack, two more people were injured ; These are Willy José Lozada Ortega, 39, and Danilo José Quintero Silva, 21, who were at the scene. Both injured people were transferred to nearby medical centers to receive urgent care, while authorities began an investigation to clarify the reasons behind the attack and find the whereabouts of those responsible.
