Two people died from an explosion of an acetylene gas-air mixture in the Khasavyurt region of Dagestan. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of Russia for Dagestan, writes TASS.
According to preliminary information from the investigation, two housing and communal services employees arrived to perform technical work at a residential building, which is located in the village of Yubileiny in Khasavyurt
It's alleged one of the men threw a cigarette butt into the sewer. Investigators and emergency services arrived at the scene of the incident.
“As a result of non-compliance with safety precautions, there was a burst of acetylene gas-air mixture located in the sewer pipe, as a result of which both employees died,” the report said.
Earlier it was reported that a car with a man inside exploded in the west of Moscow.
