A man was run over and killed on the Central Regional Highway (ARC), after he entered the road to ask for help, after suffering an accident. According to reports, the victim had overturned his vehicle due to speeding, he was driving a Hyundai Elantra. When he got out of his vehicle he went to ask for help in the middle of the highway.
However, after stopping in one of the canals of the road, a bus ran over him. The victim suffered serious injuries, for which the authorities of the San Joaquin Mayor's Office took him to the Mariara hospital, in the state of Carabobo, where he died.
Unofficial sources identified him as Luis de Freite Aponte, who died at the health center as a result of his injuries.
