In Yelets , a local resident survived after receiving an electric shock after climbing onto the roof of a freight train, Vesti Lipetsk reports .
A Russian walking around the depot climbed onto one of the freight train cars and grabbed the contact wire, receiving a discharge of 27 thousand volts. The victim remained alive when the ambulance arrived, but received multiple injuries and burns, with which he was taken to the hospital.
Law enforcement officers are working at the scene.
Earlier it became known that in Kuzbass a one-year-old child from Novokuznetsk could not survive an electric shock. The boy was electrocuted after he licked the charging wire in his parents' bedroom, to which the phone was connected at that moment.
