The serious accident that involved a bus traveling from Bogotá to La Vega, in Cundinamarca, has so far left two people dead and at least 22 injured.
Rescue teams, ambulances and other authorities arrived at the Curva La Asturia sector and on the road that leads from Bogotá to La Vega, to care for the more than 20 injured people left by the dramatic accident on Wednesday afternoon.
In images you can see the conditions in which the vehicle was left, in which the safety glass broke and through them the passengers got out in the middle of the accident.
Dozens of people arrived at the scene along with the authorities to provide first aid to the injured and determine the causes of the serious accident.
In a video prior to the accident, you can see the moment in which the bus loses control and crashes into the ravine, turning at least three times.
The authorities’ balance sheet is two people dead and at least 22 injured in the midst of the serious accident.
For the moment, efforts are being made to clearly establish what the causes of the accident on the important Cundinamarca highway were.
