On the afternoon of this Sunday, July 2, 2023, a bloody event was captured by the security cameras of a house in the Pancasán neighborhood , Ranchón sector of the municipality of Santo Tomás, Chontales .

In the cameras it is observed where a man identified as Silvio supposedly hits another citizen known as El Pando with a machete , without saying a word; he followed him and gave him the accurate machete blow between the neck and the lower part of the left ear, falling to the ground and being seriously injured.
