While thousands of Ibaguereños and tourists were getting ready to enjoy the Great National and International Folklore Parade, a family in the Dos commune cried for the absence of one of their loved ones after being murdered.

Two women staged a violent fight in the Alaska neighborhood this Sunday morning. Both were transferred to care centers, but one died due to the seriousness of the injuries caused by the other female.

Around 9:30 in the morning, the community reported to the Ibagué Metropolitan Police quadrant a fight between some people, where Lizeth Rogelia Carranza Castro and Ana Graciela Segura Gutiérrez were affected.

Carranza Castro was transferred to the emergency department of the San Francisco Hospital, but upon arrival at the place, the health professionals reported that she had no vital signs.

The citizen did not manage to survive because the metal blade caused serious injuries. One of the injuries was on the left side of the neck which caused heavy bleeding. He would have had another wound on her face.
