A 34-year-old man was killed in the city of Camaçari, in the metropolitan region of Salvador, early this Sunday morning (28/05). The incident took place at Praça Lúcia Eugênia, known as Praça da Simpatia.

According to the source of Informe Baiano, the victim was shot when he was sitting down.

The Civil Police confirms the information: “The 4th Homicide Police Station (DH/Camaçari) is investigating the death of Maurício Santana Lopes, 34 years old, shot at Praça Lúcia Eugênia, in that municipality, early this morning. Sunday (28). According to preliminary information, a man approached Maurício, who was in a bar, and executed him. The victim was known to the police for drug trafficking.”
