TENNESSEE – One person is dead and another injured following a crash ejection in Memphis.

According to the crash report, the driver lost control of the vehicle while traveling southbound on Jackson Avenue. Police say the vehicle hit a curb then a traffic sign and rolled through a parking lot several times before it hit a building and another vehicle.

The 19-year-old driver along with the passenger ejected from the car was taken to the hospital in critical condition, but the passenger later died.

Someone was also sitting in the parked vehicle but they were not seriously injured.

Officers concluded that the driver was speeding and recklessly driving.
