A man, apparently drunk, stabbed the waitress of a business located in the urban area of ​​Nechí, Bajo Cauca, Antioquia, after she charged him for the consumption of several beers and the attacker refused to pay for them.

The events were recorded at 12:10 p.m. last Tuesday in the El Chispero sector, inside an establishment called Boricua Drinks. The situation arose when the waitress, seeing her client's refusal to answer for what was consumed, chose to take away a bag that she had , at least while she paid the debt. From that moment there was a struggle between the waitress and her client, not only because of the debt but also because of the bag. After several feints and allegations, the assailant pulled out a knife and stabbed the woman twice, identified as 38-year-old María Isabel Carbonel Jiménez.

Seriously injured, behind the bar of this establishment, María Isabel was transferred to La Misericordia Hospital, in Nechí, where she managed to receive medical attention , but later died, the authorities said.
