A 27-year-old driver, Jefferson Martins Silva, died after being crushed by a backhoe, in an accident in Povoado Matis, rural area of ​​Montes Claros, in the North of Minas, this Tuesday (25). The body will be buried this Wednesday (26).

A witness told the Military Police (PM) that while traveling along the neighboring road, which gives access to the village, he found the backhoe overturned and a person crushed under it, apparently lifeless. Samu teams were called and the death was confirmed on the spot. The owner of the backhoe informed the police that the victim provided sporadic services as a driver and that there was no employment relationship between them.
