The victim is known as a powerful businessman in the Lezha area. He has held the post of director of Aluizni in Lezhë, as well as running for deputy in the 2021 parliamentary elections under the PSD logo.

He was also registered in the lists of the municipal council of Lezha for the local elections of May 14.
